China – April 2020 – The COVID-19 pandemic situation in China is stabilizing with a progressive return to normalcy. However, the situation across the globe is still not optimistic; duration and severity vary from country to country.
Medical face masks has become one of the highly sought-after essential items. The surging demand coupled with a disruption to global supply chain, has created a severe shortage.
Though the coronavirus is ruthless, the world is still full of love! ESound Medical Device Co., Ltd, a valued customer of Makino China, has generously contributed 100,000 surgical masks to the Makino Group when they learned that our overseas offices are facing mask shortages. They delivered the masks with their own transportation and traveled about 1,000 km from their location in Henan Province to Makino China, Kunshan city, Jiangsu Province.
As a Chinese saying goes "Good friends feel close to each other even when they are thousands of miles apart". We are grateful to ESound Med for their continued support to meet our need for masks to Makino offices across China during the domestic pandemic, but also to the Makino Group across Asia.
